004 - Link and the Garden Temple

Imagine this, when I was about 7 or 8 years old my dad took us to the swap meet down in Mexico and we found this person selling a lot of Super Nintendo games  which was rare back then since it was a fairly recent console. However, by some weird chance we ended up buying "a link to the past," little did I know this game would root itself in our family and our lives.  From then on, some of my fondest memories from my childhood are of the whole family sitting around the TV  and watching my mom play this super awesome game. Its funny, she would narrate the game play in her best heroic voice and we would collectively help to figure out the puzzles for our hero in green clothes.

From then on, I was hooked!  Legend of Zelda has always been my favorite video game series no matter what the console or graphics.


I totally walked right by this piece, my son pointed him out and was lucky enough to snatch him up.

Windwaker's Link usually oversees our toothbrushes in the restroom sink but this week he took to the garden and we got a few awesome shots!!
